As our Manager of Strategic Initiatives, Brenda (she/her) helps the team stay on track to meeting their goals and designs key initiatives, such as our grantee community building. Brenda’s favorite part of the job is getting to learn from the amazing social entrepreneurs with whom we partner. Prior to joining our team, Brenda worked in philanthropy consulting for Building Impact Partners and in policy and advocacy, helping advance racial equity work at the Connecticut General Assembly. Her deep commitment to improving educational opportunities for youth can be traced back to her time as a public-school chemistry teacher.
